1. GETTING TO KNOW YOU & INTRODUCING YOU TO BEND

We begin the process with a 45-90 minute phone conversation to get to know you better and understand your needs. Starting from the very beginning we will explain the layout of Bend, the different neighborhoods and any location requirements you may have due to work or school. Since the public schools in Bend are districted, learning about your kids and their education needs will be a big factor in where we find you your rental. We’ll discuss things such as the size of your family, pets, budget, lifestyle and timeframe for relocating. We’ll explain how we work and take you through our process step by step. Finally, we’ll formulate a game plan to find out which neighborhood is the best fit for you.

2. FINDING A NEIGHBORHOOD

4. ASSESS PROPERTY SURROUNDINGS

Before even touring a rental property in Bend, Oregon, we will drive by it to assess the exterior of the house or apartment complex and the surrounding neighborhood. If the rental property checks off your needs from the outside, we will arrange a time to tour it for you.

5. ACCESS INTERIORS OF PROPERTIES

We will tour the inside of up to five rental houses, condos or apartments for you. Depending on your availability and desire, we can walk through properties with you via FaceTime or Skype or simply email photos or video we’ve taken and discuss them with you over the phone. While touring the rental property, we are happy to take measurements and gather all critical information, including rental terms, utilities and maintenance that may need to be performed before your move-in date.

6. LEARN THE DETAILS

After touring the rental property, we will schedule a time to discuss your thoughts and answer additional questions you may have. Our goal is to ensure you have a thorough sense of the rental property to make your decision as comfortable as possible.

7. SECURE THE RENTAL

We will connect you with the landlord or listing agent, so you can proceed with the financial arrangements and application process to secure the rental.

8. ADDRESS OTHER PROPERTY NEEDS

Once you’ve secured your rental, we’ll send you all of the contact information for the local utility companies and email you everything needed to register your vehicle and obtain a new driver’s license at the Oregon DMV. We also provide you with a complete list of trusted referrals to connect you with medical professionals and local businesses right away.
