Oregon Winterfest – February

While we all just enjoyed Winterfest last weekend, this event is one not to miss and takes place every February. Ice sculpture, ironwork fireplaces, winter sports exhibitions, and lots of local carts with food and drinks…that’s just some of what Winterfest offers! Each day is packed full of special events, plus great food and drinks available. Try a visit for a Valentine’s Date or just browse around!

Eagle Watch – March 28

This event combines watching eagles with celebrations of local Native American culture, a fun outing for the whole family!

Rendez Van – April 22 – 26

Do you have a van? Rendez Van is a Mt. Bachelor event that sees vans and campers come from around the nation for a 5-day campout and tons of fun.

Pole Pedal Paddle – May 16

One of the most popular sporting events in Bend, this contest combines multiple races from alpine skiing to cycling. Teams form from all around Bend to compete, but everyone else can enjoy watching and rooting, too! Funds go to help support local sports programs.

Cascade Cycling Classic – May 27 – 31

Cyclers from across the country come for this huge cycling event, which uses routes across Bend to really test endurance and skill. If you like biking in any form, make note of the Cycling Classic and try to find time to watch.

Bite of Bend – June 12 – 14

Bite of Bend combines amazing food and fun music in a limited-time event that makes for a great summer mini-cation. Find a little time to stop by, try some meals you’ve never tried before, and enjoy a bit of local music!

Bend Summer Festival – July 10 – 12

The Summer Festival offers something for everyone and includes music, food carts, local deals, art, and special events. Everything is located downtown, where it’s easy to walk around and find what you most enjoy.

Balloons Over Bend – July 24 – 26

This event sees hot air balloons prepared and flown around Bend. From nighttime glow events to children activities in the morning, Balloons Over Bend has something for every family – and it’s one of the greatest photo opportunities of the year!

Les Schwab Amphitheater Summer Concerts

Summer concerts are going on throughout the summer months, so check them out and see if any are from your dream bands. This year includes Vampire Weekend and the Dave Matthews Band!

Bend Brewfest – August 13 – 15

The biggest beer even in Bend brings brewers from around the Northwest in one spot where you can try hundreds of beers.

Bend Oktoberfest – September 18 – 19

Oktoberfest in Bend features authentic food, fun activities, stein hold contents, dog competitions, and much more.

Bend Fall Festival – October 2 – 4

The Fall Festival switches things up with pumpkin painting, a huge harvest market, and all the food and music you could want!

BendFilm Festival – October 8 – 11

Film fans won’t want to skip this big film event focusing on celebrating indie films – and studying the art of the filmmaking itself.

Bend Ale Trail – November

November is a designated Bend Ale Trail month, and the perfect opportunity to complete the Ale Trail and try out great beers and food that you’ve never tried before!
